Jeffery Tompkins is an award-winning urban planner, designer, entrepreneur, and architectural illustrator with a passion for vibrant places. He is the principal of PRT Planning + Design, an Indianapolis-based urban design consultancy offering ideas on emergent urbanism and place-empowerment for the 21st century city. With his professional work, he aims to co-create memorable, equitable, and accessible joy in the built environment — much of Jeffery’s recent work has revolved on urban design frameworks, development strategy, and community-driven neighborhood activation. In his work, he hopes to use emergent urbanism to bridge the gap between architecture and development to help make people-first places.
